Strategies are our most brilliant tools for safety.

They were built to protect us, these patterns often stay long after they are needed: running quietly in the background, shaping choices we don't even realize we're making.

Mentally checking out preserved your peace, but now cuts you off from people you need.

Pushing back frames disagreements as battles, straining the relationships you value most.

Over time survival strategies inevitably become a ceiling, and when this happens it creates a chronic state of internal pressure and fatigue.

Beneath that exhaustion, your truest nature was never lost.

The path to integration

Transformation doesn't happen when we just think differently; it happens when we inhabit the spaces we have long avoided. Our work is the bridge between knowing your patterns and being someone who is no longer limited by them.

What does this look like in practice?

A Laboratory for Being

Deep Felt Sense

We shift from 'talking about' to 'feeling into,' using the body's intelligence to find exactly where you are stuck.

Internal Alignment

We identify the different 'voices' in your system, moving from being controlled by them to leading them with clarity.

Grounded Awareness

We practice staying with your experience in real-time, expanding your capacity to handle the high stakes of your life.

Helping you develop the presence and resilience to navigate the complexity of your life.

Monica Price - Seattle Somatic Coach and Developmental Coach

Monica Price, M.S., M.A.

My path to coaching was paved by twenty years in the high-stress worlds of tech, startups, and social impact. In those environments, I saw a recurring pattern: no matter how brilliant the strategy or the team, the ultimate limit of any endeavor, or any relationship, is the internal capacity of the people within it.

I realized that the quality of my life wasn't defined by the problems I solved, but by the quality of the relationships I navigated along the way. My work is deeply informed by my own lived experience: leading teams through organizational shifts, navigating the evolving layers of a long-term life partnership, and parenting neurodiverse children.

Today, I combine a "big picture" systems lens with evidence-based practices to help you move beyond reactive patterns. While our work may begin with the challenges you’re facing today, my goal is to help you expand the container of who you are. By building this internal capacity, you develop the presence and resilience needed to navigate both today’s struggles and tomorrow’s unknowns with a grounded sense of clarity, connection, and wholeness.

Beyond the Work: Based in Seattle, I draw resilience and a sense of playfulness from the Pacific Northwest mountains. I am an avid runner, mountain biker, and skate skier who finds "spark" from being in the forest. When I’m not on the trails, I’m likely gardening, cooking for friends, or cheering on my two adult children as they navigate the transition of launching into the world.

The Toolset

A Grounded Approach to Transformation

Effective transformation rarely follows a single, linear path. By bridging somatic, contemplative, and inquiry-based practices, I access the specific tools that resonate with your inner landscape as it unfolds.

Somatics

Sensing & Regulation

Lineage: Peter Levine & Eugene Gendlin

Body-based awareness for nervous system regulation. We move beyond "talking about" stress to processing it through your physiology.

Parts Work

Internal Alignment

Lineage: IFS (Richard Schwartz) & C.G. Jung

Engaging the inner system as a dynamic map. By relating to parts with curiosity, you move from being controlled by patterns to leading from wholeness.

Presence & Absence

Phenomenology

Lineage: Heidegger & A.H. Almaas

An exploration of how you inhabit your life. We work with Absence (a sometimes unsettling emptiness that can arise) and Presence, the clarity of being you.

Contemplative Practices

Meditative Inquiry

Lineage: Vajrayana Buddhism & Neuroscience

Recognizing the innate radiance of awareness already present within you to cultivate resilience and equanimity.

Dream Work

Embodied Imagination

Lineage: Robert Bosnak & James Hillman

Treating dreams as living worlds. By somatically inhabiting dream figures, we allow innate wisdom to metabolize directly through the body.

"Want to build the capacity to inhabit your life, fully, and for the long haul?"
